9-day Battle of Normandy - 2021

Our 9-day Battle of Normandy Tour will give you an understanding of the Invasion of Normandy that goes beyond D-Day. The tour visits all five landing beaches and also explores the events that transpired after the landings. The battle saw General Patton assume command of the U.S. Third Army and exploit the first breakthrough across German lines. The fight for Normandy culminated in the death or capture of 60,000 Germans in the Falaise Pocket. The tour also includes a visit to the famous abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel and a unique site, new to our tours: the Crisbecq artillery battery, from where German defenders first spotted the Allied fleet on D-Day.
